As I have already stated, the Olympics are definitely captivating my evenings like no other single sporting event has in my life. It only adds to the drama when my neighbor comes over to watch the gymnasts. She used to be a gymnast herself and you can just see the emotion come out when Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson perform. I thought she was going to punch something (or me) when the gold was given to the Chinese girl when they tied in the uneven bars.
In the course of watching these Olympic Games I have learned more than I expected about the fringe sports, about the theme songs (the one you know is by a Frenchman named Arnaud) and about China, than I ever would have dreamed. But what has struck me as different from all the Olympic games of the past (probably due a lot to my age) is just how much sex there is in the Olympics. No, there is no medal for marathon mating or synchronized orgies, but there are a surprisingly large number of attractive women (and men I’m sure) in the Olympics, and they have been exploited by NBC and sponsors like never before. I must note, I am not complaining! Click this to see what I mean–>
Therefore, as the Olympics come to a close, I would like to highlight the most incredible (beautiful) athletes that I have witnessed during these epic games. Oh and Usain Bolt is a God.
Leryn Franco
This javelin throwing goddess from Paraguay, is a national treasure. However, beauty does not equal gold. She failed to qualify for the finals.
Lolo Jones
She hails from LSU and she hurdles like a champion, well, that is until the finals when she tripped on a hurdle and lost her shot at immortality. At least she can fall back on her good looks (and her sister was a looker too).
Laure Manaudou
Oh France and there swimming team. We all know how good they think they are, but for poor Laure, she was just pathetic. At one time she was incredible, but that was back before nude pictures of her surfaced and her ex-boyfriend on the Italian team dumped her for a native swimming record holder. Any guys have a shoulder for her to cry on?
Nastia Liukin
Finally a woman who got Gold despite her physical beauty! Although, I must say that she became more attractive after Gold than before. She certainly does not compete with the girls from above, but she has the hardware.
Elena Dementieva
Also, beauty and gold. Russia and tennis go together so well. Sharapova is still my favorite, but Elena will do just fine, just ask MrNiceGuy.
Kerri Walsh
Quite possibly the most mesmerizing sport in the Olympics, Kerri Walsh’s perfectly sculpted body has graced my TV screen more than even THE Phelps. She is likely to have a gold dangling around her neck. This sport sells the Olympics for even the least interested male viewers. I want a tally for how much airtime their bikini bottoms get! Somebody get to it.
And finally, though I was unfortunate in not having been able to see these perfect women in action, I could not allow myself not to give you the oppurtunity to witness the most perfect female athletes in the world (yes they are from Brazil and yes they are twins):

Yeah, Logan Tom might have worked too. As for Phelps, the guy list should have been created too. I’m unfortunately not qualified.
